Two powerful performances by two great younger actors of our generation. Adapted from a book this complex simple story tells of the ordinary lives of this young couple in a time gone by us. Back when things were much more prim an proper the things that happen in this film may or may not be reflective of what might have been going on underneath it all. Both actors here turn in award winning perfomances that really stretch the relationship to above normal performances. The 50's set costuming and design all work perfectly. For those fans of period dramatic pieces this one is up your alley.
