I can start this one by saying I have been a lifelong comic hero fan. I grew up collecting comics and was always more of a Marvel kid than a DC comics one. I went so far as playing live action Marvel characters for Universal Studios Hollywood ( I was Spiderman, Green Goblin and Daredevil) NOW over the last few years comic movies have been getting better and better. Hellboy, X-Men and Now IRON MAN has trumped them all.
THe DC movies have not been that good (the Superman-s, Batman-s) The first and last Batman were pretty good and The Dark Knight coming up should be an improvement for DC. Superman (all of them) have always been pretty lame. Now Marvel had been having more and more hits in there world Spider-man, Punisher, Blade, X-Men, and now the best one yet IRON MAN!
This film gets a solid A rating from me. Its got everything that a comic movie needs to be, Characters that are believable, solid acting, lots of action, great F/X, good Fight scenes, dialogue that isn't filled with cheesy one liners. It is, so far, the best comic adaptation I've seen to date. The Dark Knight this summer may be close. IRON MAN is a must see in my book. Check it out.
